About this product
Plain kraft paper on a large roll. Crumple it, drop it in the gaps around the product, and the parcel stops rattling. It is the least glamorous product we sell and usually the one that saves the most money, because empty space in a box is what turns a safe parcel into a damaged one.
At 70 gsm the paper crumples easily by hand without tearing into useless shreds. Heavier grades resist crumpling; lighter grades tear.
Sold by the metre and supplied on 450 m rolls. Our 1,000 metre minimum is a little over two rolls; most buyers on a bulk schedule take 10,000 m or more at a time because the freight is the same either way.

Frequently asked questions
Void fill paper or honeycomb wrap?
Void fill is for the empty space around a product; honeycomb is for wrapping the product itself. Most packing benches use both — wrap the item, then fill the gaps. If you only buy one, void fill paper is the cheaper and more broadly useful of the two.
Is this the same as the paper in a shredder-style void fill machine?
The material is the same class of kraft. Machines that shred and fan the paper use specific roll widths and core sizes, so check your machine’s spec before ordering — tell us the machine model on a quote request and we will confirm compatibility.
How much do I need?
A useful rule of thumb is that 450 m fills several hundred small-to-medium cartons. Usage varies enormously with how oversized your boxes are, so measure a week of packing before committing to a large standing order.
