About this product
The default mailer for anything soft that does not need cushioning. A 2.5 mil coextruded film gives you a bag that resists tearing and punctures far better than the thin 1.5 mil bags sold in consumer packs, while staying light enough that it rarely affects your carrier weight band.
The film is opaque with a grey inner layer so contents are not visible through the bag, and the permanent self-seal strip closes in one motion — no tape needed on the packing bench.

- Any parcel where cost per unit matters more than presentation

- Fragile items — use a bubble mailer or a box with void fill

Frequently asked questions
What does 2.5 mil actually mean?
Mil is a thousandth of an inch, so 2.5 mil is roughly 63 microns. It is the common ecommerce standard: thick enough to resist tearing when a parcel is thrown, thin enough to stay cheap and light. Consumer packs are often 1.5–2 mil and tear far more easily.
Can I get my logo printed on these?
Yes. Custom printed poly mailers are quoted separately because the price depends on colours, coverage and run length. Send your artwork through the custom packaging form and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
How do I choose a size?
Lay the product flat, add about 25 mm of clearance on each side, and pick the next size up. A slightly oversized mailer is cheaper than a damaged return. If you are between two sizes, send us the product dimensions and we will tell you which we would use.
Are these waterproof?
The film itself is water-resistant and the seal strip is continuous, so light rain in a delivery van is not a problem. They are not rated as waterproof for immersion, and the seal is only as good as the surface it is pressed onto — wipe the bag if it is dusty.
